What is Meadowvale?
Meadowvale is a strategic tile-placement game inspired by the landscapes and wildlife of the British countryside. Players shape a shared ecological landscape of hedgerows, woodland, meadows, and river, introducing animals that behave according to real ecological relationships. Rabbits cluster for safety, foxes hunt open ground, owls watch by line of sight, and kingfishers compete for stretches of river. Combining traditional printmaking aesthetics with interconnected spatial strategy, Meadowvale is designed as both a tactical game and a living landscape.

Quotes from Playtesters
“Super game, lovely theme which ties in very well with what is going on in the game.”
“Nature card actions/abilities are great, animal cards make sense. It all goes together with great synergy.”
“Overall Meadowvale is a beautiful looking smooth playing competitive tile laying animal placing game about the amazing British countryside.”
“The level of player interaction is nice with everyone populating the landscape with neutral animals going that you get to claim them before someone else does. Congratulations, you have a great game here and I'll definitely be grabbing a copy when it gets released.”
"loved how the theme worked and made sense, especially liked foxes eating rabbits and hedgehogs unless they hide in a hedgerow, kingfishers only being on a river, owls cant see through trees.
Beautiful artwork all over. Fun gameplay with lots to think about. You can play the game to suit your dynamics...”
“The theme is a really lovely calming touch, the animal cards nicely showcase how the animals actually cohabit and interact in nature and seeing that reflected in a board game is something really special.”
