Meadowvale is as much about aesthetics as it is about mechanics. From the outset, my aim has been to apply fine art printmaking principles to a board game — using texture, layering, and restraint rather than flat or illustrative iconography.

A little about my background: I am a fine art printmaker, composer, game designer, and teacher. I exhibit and sell work locally, across the UK, and internationally. Recent exhibitions include shows in the USA, Spain, France, Bulgaria, and Japan. In the UK, my work has been shown at the 2023 Southbank Printmakers Mini Print Exhibition in London, with sales through the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers’ Bankside Gallery.

In 2023, I won the Experimental Printmaking Award at the Kazanlak Miniprint and served as an International Juror for the 2024 edition.

The artwork produced for Meadowvale uses collagraph techniques and will be exhibited and available to collectors outside of the Kickstarter project. A small number of limited editions will be exclusive to higher pledge tiers.
